Learning To Fly

Airplanes have always interested me and thought it would be really cool to be a pilot. I recently figured out that my local airport has a flight school. Although it would take a while to earn my license it would be a lot of fun. So with my research I have found out a few things to know. If you are going to earn your license there are two options to consider. You could go the easier route and get the sport license which allows you to only fly one passenger planes with only one other passenger. (obviously) You also can’t go past a certain altitude. Now if that doesn’t suit you there is a different route you can take which is a bit more difficult. You can get your private pilots license. Getting this license would allow you to fly any plane with any amount of passengers to any altitude. This is difficult to get because you need a bigger amount of hours flown than the sport license. Now after you get your license and maybe have rented planes for a while and you are ready to buy a plane here are a few options to consider— 1. Cessna 172 around $29,000 2. Piper Cherokee around $25,000 3. Grumman AA1A $18,000. Those are good starters because they are under $30,000 and they are reliable planes.
