Learning To Fly

Airplanes have always interested me and thought it would be really cool to be a pilot. I recently figured out that my local airport has a flight school. Although it would take a while to earn my license it would be a lot of fun. So with my research I have found out a few things to know. If you are going to earn your license there are two options to consider. You could go the easier route and get the sport license which allows you to only fly one passenger planes with only one other passenger. (obviously) You also can’t go past a certain altitude. Now if that doesn’t suit you there is a different route you can take which is a bit more difficult. You can get your private pilots license. Getting this license would allow you to fly any plane with any amount of passengers to any altitude. This is difficult to get because you need a bigger amount of hours flown than the sport license. Now after you get your license and maybe have rented planes for a while and you are ready to buy a plane here are a few options to consider— 1. Cessna 172 around $29,000 2. Piper Cherokee around $25,000 3. Grumman AA1A $18,000. Those are good starters because they are under $30,000 and they are reliable planes. If you would like to hear more about my adventure through flight lessons please donate to my GoFundMe. If you donate it would help pay for all of the expenses that come with these lessons- My GoFundMe

BMX Riding

If you have been reading my blog you might have realized that I haven’t posted in a week or two. I apologize I was at an interesting beach that I might explain in a later post. So on to this post on BMX riding. When I was little I would always ride my bikes off little homemade jumps and off curbs and I always thought that it was a lot of fun. A few years ago I got a Cult bike and it is great. I have taken it to many skateparks around my area and it is good fun. I have taken it to an awesome camp called camp Woodward. This place is an absolute gold mine if you are looking for a fun place to BMX. You do have to pay to get in but it is totally worth it. There is a foam pit, a resi ramp, vert ramp, mini vert ramp, may rails boxes and gaps to jump, and there is also a bowl. While I was there I worked on clearing a fun-box and got it. I also got decent air on a 6 foot quarter. I will link some videos of Woodward down below. If you are looking to buying a BMX bike definitely buy a complete bike. It is way cheaper than building one. The brand I started with is Cult. It is a very high quality bike that I have. I got the 18″ Juvenile. I thank you for reading and if you would like to hear more donate to my GoFundMe, here is a link for it – https://www.gofundme.com/draw-me-some-more-fun. And please comment asking me questions or giving me feedback, that would be greatly appreciated.

What I Like About Jumping On A Trampoline

Throughout my years I have had a trampoline. Having a trampoline for so long has taught me many tricks I thought I would never do. I have learned front and back flips which both took a lot of time to learn, I also learned back fulls. Basically (If you don’t know what it is) it is a backflip with a full 360 degree rotation. I think it looks pretty cool. It is my favorite flip so far because of the feeling as you flip and rotate through the air. Moving to a new house meant we would get a new trampoline. Before we had an old one with no net and a lot of the springs were broken or missing which made it not the greatest trampoline but i still was using it. The new trampoline is a rectangle instead of the traditional circle which made it oddly better. And since it was new meant it was a lot bouncier. So the thing I like most is just the feeling of being in the air and just landing a flip is so satisfying. I usually go out on to my trampoline 3 or 4 times a day and it never gets old. If you have any questions, suggestions, or comments please put those in the comments. Thank you for reading!

My First Blog Post-Photography

Welcome to my blog about what I like to do for fun. One thing I have got further into recently is photography. I don’t have a lot of money to buy a camera so I have by mostly shooting pictures on my iPhone. Although I have been borrowing my step dads Nikon. With that camera I have shot lots of close up pictures. My step dad has a macro lens, and that is a nice kind of lens to have if you want to shoot close ups like the picture below. I also have been using a GoPro Hero Session. That little camera can shoot in 1440p which is very nice. I have taken it into pools and lakes and it is amazing. The quality is very good even under water! The camera has been very good until recently I dropped it in a lake where it will sit in the mud for who know how long. R.I.P my GoPro 2018-2018.  Because of this incident I have looked into more GoPro products. One that I have been most interested in was the GoPro Karma Drone. For a price of $999 you would receive the drone (obviously), a GoPro Hero 5 Black edition, and a Karma grip which is a very cool little gadget. If you would like to hear more in depth detail on me buying and using all of it go to my GoFundMe page and help me reach my goal. https://www.gofundme.com/draw-me-some-more-fun. Feel free to comment feedback for me or correct me about anything I have wrong. Thank you for the support!
